Hi, my name is Jolie and I love animals!
A native Oregonian, I grew up around farms and and enjoyed taking care of many different types of animals at a young age. For me nothing is more sacred or rewarding than nurturing the special bond between humans and their pets. I have worn many hats and had many careers, but the one I keep coming back to is dog walking and pet sitting. I have over 20 years of professional dog walking and pet sitting experience. I am also animal first aid certified and have taken many classes in animal behavior and training. I specialize in working with shy, sensitive animals who sometimes just need a little extra love and encouragement. I am also skilled at taking care of elderly pets and can administer meds as needed.
I enjoy being a dog walker because I believe in the importance of health and wellness. I love the active lifestyle that comes along with a dog walking career, for both myself and the animals. I have great respect for all of my clients that seek out my services. They are looking out for the health of their pets and doing their part as responsible dog owners. I have seen first-hand how regularly walking dogs can vastly improve their physical health, energy, skin, coat and overall temperament. For more high-energy dogs, daily walks are a great release tool that can reduce anxiety and improve behavior. Seeing the positive impacts of dog walking is what truly inspires me and makes me love my job so much.
When you hire Portland Paws, we’ll tailor a dog walking schedule that is customized to your dog’s specific needs with one-on-one attention. I have no breed restrictions and will work with all types of dogs and cats.
We're available 7 days a week from 8am–6pm and can be scheduled on a daily, weekly, monthly, or as-needed basis. All rates include one dog. There is an extra pet fee for additional dogs.

Overnight pet sitting
We offer overnight pet sitting for those pets who prefer to have a frequent human presence (and a person to cuddle with them at night!). With our overnight sitting service, your pets can stay in their own environment even when you can’t be there.
This service is modeled after a typical 8-5 work day schedule. Your pets will have a max 8-9 hours alone during the day, then companionship in the evening, and overnight. Depending on your pets needs, overnight pet sitting can include the following:

Standard Overnight – $115.00 per night (includes a dinner visit & overnight pet sitter)
